Alex Jovanovich BlueChew

Alex Jovanovich is the co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of BlueChew.com, a men’s health company where he enjoys developing new products, building teams, marketing and scaling the brand. A keen interest in problem solving and a willingness to question the status quo led Dr. Jovanovich down the path of entrepreneurship at an early age. He met BlueChew co-founder Stephen Sullivan freshman year of high school, and the two became best friends and lifelong business partners. They experimented with diverse business ideas throughout high school and college, from a stain-removing pen they dubbed SpotNot—before Tide Stick arrived on the market—to a large-format alcoholic beverage called Hurly Burly, and the apparel company Rippit. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Finance, he continued his education at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Sciences, from which he graduated in 2010 as a Medical Doctor. Dr. Jovanovich completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Chicago, where he served as chief resident. During his residency period he volunteered in Haiti, providing medical relief to people still suffering from the devastating 2010 earthquake near Port-au-prince.
