Jennie L. Brown

I was born in the Black Hills of South Dakota and grew up on the windswept prairies of Wyoming. Before attending the University of Colorado, I worked as a bookkeeper, a bartender, and with a police department. I taught writing in Colorado, California and Seattle before moving to Kentucky in 1991 to teach at Western Kentucky University. Currently, I live in a cottage north of Bowling Green, Kentucky with my resident musician. Lately, I’ve written a British mystery/police procedural novel (just because it’ was fun) and a family biography.
