Kulamani Biswal

Kulamani Biswal is a public sector finance leader, corporate director, and legal practitioner with over 35 years of experience across India's energy and power sectors. He served as Director (Finance) on the Board of NTPC Limited from 2013 to 2018. Previously, he held key finance executive roles, including Director (Finance) and CFO of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited and Chief (Finance) at the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission, after starting his career at Coal India Limited in 1985. An alumnus of Utkal and Sambalpur Universities, he holds a B.Com, LLB, MBA, and FCMA. Honored as an Honorary Fellow of the World Academy of Productivity Sciences and recipient of the CMA-CFO Award, he currently practices as an Advocate before the High Court of Orissa.
