My motto here is like in Maimonides' preface to his Guide: something just cannot be explained to others. Politics: Conservative; Right. I'm weary of human nature, and I mistrust revolutionaries. As Friedrich von Hayek put it, government planning is an expression of arrogance; no human can see or understand all the subtle workings of a society. Social evolution is slow and slaggy, but it's the surest way to get you there. Interested in philosophy of science; which, I believe, anyone should get a taste of, whether they are studying science or Humanities. The scientist will be humbled and find the limits of scientific claims. The humanist will understand the difference between fact and opinion, or science and pseudo-science. That being said, I don't take philosophy too seriously. Life is a process and the mystery of life isn't a problem to solve, but a reality to experience.
