Free to air broadcasting is the greatest most wonderful thing in the world. All you need to do is switch to the "On" position and you're ready to receive! Radio and television has always been a passion of mine, ever since I was a small child and my (much bigger) siblings would send ME upstairs to fiddle with the TV antenna so they could get the picture in better. I thought I was chosen for the task on account of my know-how, but they just didn't want to do the chore :) I live in Phoenix Arizona USA now, and do not like our summers. If you like hot weather, move here. It has gotten up to 114F/45C last summer!
