Intentional, family and community focused, in-it-for-the long-run, surrounded by daughters, my wife and best friend are one and the same. These are but a few ways I hope others might describe me. Other less flattering descriptors also come to mind, including: forthright, cautiously optimistic, pragmatic and fixer. Other aspirations include: builder, compassionate, change agent and evolving faith-journey. Saying “I've always done it that way” is seldom an acceptable reply.
