Editor Jaymie

Editor, Children’s Books, Pauline Books & Media Jaymie Stuart Wolfe is relatively new to editing, but not publishing. Before “jumping the fence” to join the editorial team at Pauline Books & Media in 2010, Jaymie authored three books: The Wonder Within, (1995 Ave Maria Press), Expecting a Miracle and The Call to Adoption (Pauline Books & Media 2003 and 2005 respectively.) Jaymie's most recent book is Adoption: Room for One More? (September, 2015). She is also a contributor to Slowing Down with the Hail Mary (Ave Maria Press, October 2015). Her biweekly column has appeared in Boston’s Archdiocesan newspaper, The Pilot, since 1995. Jaymie’s prior experience includes work as a parish level Faith Formation Coordinator and Music Ministry Director. She has been a featured speaker and musician at numerous spiritual events. Jaymie is a 1983 RCIA convert to the Catholic faith. A graduate of Harvard University, she completed a Master of Arts in Ministry from St. John’s Seminary in 2006. Jaymie and her husband Andrew have eight children and seven grandchildren. At PBM, Jaymie has been busy editing middle grade fiction, as well as picture books, resources, and prayer books. She is a coauthor of The Mass Explained for Kids, and the series editor for the “Praying with the Popes” books for young Catholics, and "Jorge from Argentina: The Story of Pope Francis for Children." She is most in her element when brainstorming new ideas, and is particularly excited by projects that present Catholic liturgy, culture, history, and tradition in fresh and kid-friendly ways.
