The only reason people use this is to masterbate. Yeah, my biggest issue with Birds of Prey being R-Rated is is it R-Rated for the sake of being R-Rated? I can defend Joker being R-Rated because that was supposed to be a What If. kind of movie that had no bearing on the rest of the DCEU. I agree that the R-Rated Properties that DC should pursue an R-Rating for is Watchmen, Constantin, and Preacher. But, I would like to add one more to the mix: The Suicide Squad. If Warner Bros. ever made a genuine Suicide Squad movie where characters like Deadshot or Killer Croc are sent in on literal Suicide Missions, then that should be Rated R just for the violence alone. My biggest fear with Warner Bros. and the DCEU going forward is that the movies are going to be R-Rated for the sake of being R-Rated. If you look at the MCU right now, it's now on a downward trend because of Endgame and Phase 4 isn't really building to anything big. All of the hype is around Phase 5 with Guardians Vol. 3, Blade, Black Panther II, Fantastic Four, etc. This should be the time where DC jumps on that downward trend and takes the audience away from Marvel. Aquaman and Shazam! were very successful despite the fact that they were only PG-13. If they (DC) continues down this path of R-Rated for the sake of being R-Rated, then they are going to lose a lot of fans in the Long Term. Remember how Zack Snyder's DCEu was Dark for the sake of being Dark? How did that work out for the DCEU? Each movie after BvS (with the exception of Wonder Woman) all lost more money than the previous. It wasn't until after Justice League where the DCEU was actually on an upward trend.
