Me hmmm... Well its my birthday day today its 10.9.10 I'm now 30 and have decided that today is going to start my first long term goal im setting for myself. I plan on doing one year goals every year from this point on. Thats my first long term goal, I guess you could say that its the longerst goal someone could set for themselves. So back to about me. Let me introduce myself, My name is Mark Thompson, I was born and raised in Youngstown, Oh and for the last 5 years have resided in Orlando, Florida. I love music and electronics. Ever since I was a kid I remember my grandfather fixing stuff all the time. My dad works for the local power company and I think between the 2 of them fixing stuff rubbed off. My grandfather played guitar as well and that was a big influence on me as far as music goes. When I was entering forth grade I had the option to join band. That was something that all of my cousins were really into and with our grandfathers influence i think that helped, I joined band and played the drums. (my parents loved it) around 1993 I was given my first guitar and amp and i plucked that thing all the way down to 3 strings and wrote my first song. It was shorly after that, that I joined my first rock band. Years later I ended up working for a local music store. Not the kind you saw in high fidelity or empire records but the kind that sold Guitars and drums. That was great and I ended up working there for a little over 5 years. Now we are in florida. I got here from a friend suggesting that I should come and check out this multi media school. I came down and fell in love. I had to work there, after a few months trying I landed a job. And now im here. I think this blog about one year goals is going to be great and I hope you enjoy it. Its helping me and hopefully helping you start a goal yourself. Thanks, Mark
