Phil Cooper

Based in Berlin, and flitting between London and Berlin a lot at the moment. I spend my time painting and drawing and sometimes doing 'day jobs' to earn a bit of money. I enjoy getting out of the city and exploring the hedgerows, coast and green places that bring me so much cheer and that form the inspiration for a lot of my work. Since starting Hedgecrows I've met some truly fantastic people via the blogosphere and it's been well worth it for that alone. Art-wise my inspiration comes from various sources, with common threads perhaps being the landscape - urban, rural and wild, the genus loci, myth, craft and life's oddities.
