A former high school English and creative writing teacher who studied creative writing at Hollins University and the UCLA Writer’s Extension Program, I’m fascinated with the joys and woes of teens and love to write both YA and MG. I’m involved in courses, workshops, and conferences with Writer’s Digest, SCBWI, AWP and my local writing center. My work has been chosen as worthy of merit in the 2012 San Francisco Writing Contest, 2015 Rate Your Story Novel Contest, 2016 Sun vs. Snow, and 2016 Pitch Madness Contests. I have written three YA novels and 1 MG.
